The Sourcing Station is a platform to encourage Supply Chain Transformation by promoting Strategic Sourcing knowledge. Supply Chain has always been seen as a tactical support function with no value creation, yet this mindset is very much outdated. Many companies increasingly use their supply chain to compete and gain market share, where such forward-thinking companies clearly show that supply chain excellence is more widely accepted as an element of overall business strategy, and that increasing value to customers is not just management's, but everyone's, business.

Despite the effort in Supply Chain excellence, many Supply Chain personnel are unable to catch up with the progress. One of the common challenges is them not understanding how could Supply Chain brings an impact to the company, to the financial bottom line. Procurement is often distracted by daily whirlwinds too, losing the time to focus on strategic activities.

As such, The Sourcing Station aims to introduce Strategic mindset to the Procurement personnel through training and coaching program.
